    It's Coming... The Final

It's the Grand Final of The Apprentice and for the two remaining candidates, it is the toughest challenge yet. Kate and Yasmina have just three days to create and brand a new box of chocolates with 'original flavours' before launching them to an audience of more than 100 industry experts.

...Sure, it would be okay if that was the only thing to contend with but some of the fired candidates are back to help (ahem!) - Will their man management be up to scratch?

Join me live tonight from 9pm for the live blog. I'll be here when the show airs to give you my views on the Grand Finale, I can't wait to hear what you think...

After Yasmina's prize cock-up with her accounts, if Kate doesn't win it'll be a travesty! Who do you think deserves the title of Apprentice 2009?

    See you tonight...

I can understand why many people will think it another crazy decision from Sir Alan to pick Yasmina as the winner but I happen to think he got it right. (Although I actually thought that she deserved to go earlier in the series due to the pricing screw-up with the soap - but that's the arbitrary nature of Sir Alan's decisions).

It's much easier to produce a quality product if you spend a lot of money on it, so clearly it was easier for Kate to produce better-tasting chocolates. I don't think Kate put enough thought into who her target market was. Also, when asked the question on what the margin would be at this price-point, she didn't really seem to know. I would have thought that if you knew that your product was expensive then you would have been better prepared to answer questions on price.

The only concern I have on Yasmina is that this is the second time that she has messed up on a 'food' task. In week 2, I think, she didn't seem to have a clue how to prepare reasonable quality food at the catered event. Sure, she won the task because she kept costs down but I think it unlikely that she would have got any repeat custom, which is a key component of running a successful business. So it is a concern that she can't achieve reasonable results in what should be her specialist area.

I think overall, it came down to Sir Alan picking the person who had the best all-round business skills. Kate made the better chocolates but messed up on the business side.

agh!!! another utterly appauling decision. kate, you were robbed. robbed, i say. robbed. yasmina produced a box of chocolates that no one would buy a second. to claim, as sir alan did in the follow up, that this could be rectified completely misses the point. chocolates are meant to be enjoyable to eat. you shouldn't want to spit them out, as one of the people invoved in her advert did. by contrast, kate's chocolates were very good, even outstanding. i'm left feeling dismayed that this decision came down to nothing better that sir alan's business instinct. i even suspect that is nothing more than make it cheap and sell it for as much profit as possible, which is pretty much what he said in the follow up too. if that's business then it's no wonder as a consumers i feel ripped off a lot of the time. deeply unimpressed. good luck kate. you totally deserved to win.

once again we have a silly clown who has nothing better to do than rubbish 'The Apprentice.'its really simple if you don't like it don't watch.

as far as kid watching this so-called 'rubbish',the truth is that a lot of kids watch reality t.v, and i would prefer them watch a group of individuals work hard to reach their goals in business than prancing about on stage,or worblling away for simon cowell or getting their bits out in some house in Elstree or where ever it is.

as for pat....has he not seen the adverts with 'surallun' endorsing government apprentice-type schemes or is he too busy watching Spanish telly?

i know that this comment was totally off-topic,but i'm sick of these idiots.

pat you are truly stupid. 1) sir alan is doing a junior apprentice next year. 2) to blame sir alan for not investing in youth business due to his show is ludicrous, by your logic i am at blame for spending my money on this laptop rather than youth business, you are at blame for buying a house in spain rather than youth business and frank lampard is at fault for not spending his money on youth business. this is just a TV show, its not sir alans obligation to serve youth business, althought he is helping anyway! the only person you can place any blame on is the government, as it is their obligation to do these duties

I do like Yasmina but I will be very happy if Kate wins the show. In my opinion she is better for the job as Yasmina has her business already and she is doing very well. I thought Debra was going to win but sadly she lost the chance! I think all the 4 last girls did so well. I didn`t get what James was doing there on the last 5, seriously, I didn`t get it!!!
All he best to the girls.

I love the show because I learn a lot every single show. As a woman myself, I feel very happy for the girls on the final. This its just brillhant!! We can change the world, slowly but we will!! We can see that on the goverment right now, as well. What a mess!! The govermentis is in a big disordered condition now because most of then are "man". Women usully are more reasonable and we try sort out problems with solutions, we don`t take the solutions and make it to a problem!! So C`MON girls, LETS DO IT!

I love this show cos' it shows us not only young generartions but everyone on this planet the spirit and passion for business and life. It is the kind of education we are lack of, so I don't think it is a waste of time and money at all. Both girls are so talent, so no matter which one wins in the final, the other one will have a great future too.

I think its brillant to see two girls on the final, from the very beginning we could see that the girls were more strong than the boys
So lets go girls, WE CAN DO IT!!!

All the money that has been put into this programme could have been better spent on the youth of the country.. Sir Alan should be ashamed of himself, helping those up the ladder in his business's, when they already have most of the intellectual tool's to further themselves..and the money. Shame on you Sir Allan, make a programme helping the 16year olds and upwards to start a proper apprenticship in some of his firms or with contacts he knows, and get them of the streets, like it use to be in his youth, before the government stopped apprentiships for the young. That will put somthing back into society. Pat from Spain
